The Aker Seafoods Group harvests, processes, and sells seafood from regulated fisheries that are and will remain renewable if properly managed. Aker Seafoods is one of Norway’s leading producers and exporters of fish products. Most of their harvesting and primary processing is of white fish. Aker Seafoods was listed on Oslo Stock Exchange in May 2005, after the combination of Norway Seafoods, West Fish-Aarsæther and Nordic Sea Holding. Aker ASA is the major shareholder of Aker Seafoods ASA with an ownership of 65%. The company headquarters are located at Aker Brygge in Oslo, Norway. It delivers fresh fillets and loins to several leading supermarket chains in Europe from its processing plants in Norway and Denmark. The company is also a major supplier of frozen fillet products to supermarkets chains in the Nordic region and central Europe.
