Flowers makes Tasty acquisition

Flowers Foods has entered into an agreement to acquire Tasty Baking Company in a deal valued at US$165m. The Georgia-based baker said that the move is in-line with its strategy to grow revenues through acquisitions in key markets and expand its geographic footprint.
