Job description:

Are you an experienced Development Technologist with the creative flair to develop products reflecting new trends within the market?

Supplying the manufacturing and food service sectors this forward thinking food manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a NPD Technologist or Product Manager to join their NPD team supporting the company's business growth. Reporting to the NPD Manager you'll be working with a range of customers developing new and existing products from concept stage through to launch creating innovative solutions to meet customer expectations. You'll be presenting concepts internally and to customers highlighting your food knowledge and commercial awareness whilst also conducting category reviews. Preparing and organising production trials you'll ensure the process runs smoothly and to the agreed budget whilst also assisting with the development of packaging artwork and customer specifications.

Previous experience within a concept to launch development role is essential along with a food related qualification. Ideally you'll have developed your NPD skills within a chilled or frozen food environment with experience of working with the major high street multiples or food service brands. You'll have a good understanding of the manufacturing process along with excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
