Job description:

Recognised as one of the market leaders, this food manufacturing business is looking for a highly ambitious and driven QA Manager to join their Technical team.  You'll take a hands on approach to lead, support and develop the QA team, taking responsibility for all food safety and quality practices.  You'll take a proactive approach to developing HACCP systems and procedures to ensure compliance to retailer standards and accreditations, ensuring that the highest levels of technical integrity are maintained.  You will also work to implement changes to the quality systems and evaluate potential risks with regards to new processes and products.

The successful candidate will ideally have an educational qualification in a food related subject, professional qualifications in Food Hygiene and HACCP as well as previous supervisory experience within Quality Assurance / Technical roles in the food manufacturing industry. You must have good working knowledge of HACCP and BRC/EFSIS within a fast paced high risk product area with a proven record of implementing achieving the highest of quality standards. To really make an impact in this role you must be ambitious with excellent people management skills with a natural flair for influencing and driving change. You might already be an accomplished QA Manager looking to join a company that can recognise your potential and move you up the ladder to quickly become the next Site Technical Manager or you might be looking for a new challenge with increased responsibility.
