Job description:

Have you recently graduated and are looking for a laboratory based quality role within the food industry?

This is a brilliant opportunity to work for this leading supplier of cutting-edge functional and nutritional ingredient solutions to the food and drinks industry.  As part of the Technical team, you'll work closely with the Quality Officer preparing and analysing raw material samples for the company's customers whilst also ensuring the sample information is recorded efficiently and accurately. You'll also work with the Applications Manager to provide support on new projects, helping out with samples and presentation material.

You'll have a food science/nutrition, chemistry or biochemistry background with some previous experience of working within a laboratory environment, either at university or within your current role.  To succeed in this role you'll feel comfortable working in a laboratory, have food analysis experience, demonstrate strong analytical and report writing skills.  With great communication skills and attention to detail, you'll be able to work independently and as part of a team for this progressive business.
