Job description:

My client is a leading food manufacturer based in Saudi Arabia. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Engineering Manager (Electrical System) who will be responsible for the safety and reliability of the electrical infrastructure (33kv = 13.8 = 380v / 40MVA). Core purpose of job;
To provide special electrical engineering skills and services to the Operations Divisions specifically;
To provide standards and specifications for the design and implementation of electrical works within the company that meet globally recognised standards for Electrical Engineering and Good Engineering practice.
To assist in the competency assessment of electrical staff and the provision of identified training.
To conduct energy and system (Electrical Infrastructure) audits, identification of risk and saving.

Remuneration;
Attractive Tax Free Salary
Plus discretionary Bonus [year 2008 was between 4 and 6 weeks pay but it can change, dependent upon company, personal job grade and personal performance] For example it could mean Nil Bonus for a poor performance-either company or individual  or a mixture of both.
Quality free Accommodation and Car provided [Or Housing Allowance and Car Allowance Paid instead]
Medical cover for self and family [normally only covered in the country where employee works].
Annual Children's Education Allowance  for up to 3 children].
Number of Free Return Air Flights depends on Managerial Grade, Single or Married status and work location.
Severance Pay [ 5% of Annual Salary for each completed year of service for the first two years and 15% of annual salary for the third and subsequent completed year of service.

Essential qualifications;
Degree in Electrical Engineering
A practicing professional Engineer.

Desirable;
Health & Safety Certificates / Qualifications
Corporate Membership of a recognised Electrical Engineering institution.

Essential Experience;
10 years in electrical design operation
Maintenance of large Medium and High Voltage systems
3 years in loss prevention / energy management.

Desirable;
5 years experience of working with a multi-cultural workforce
