UK/NETHERLANDS: 2 Sisters to buy Dutch poultry firm Storteboom

2 Sisters will see Dutch presence expand |
UK poultry processor 2 Sisters Food Group is to buy Dutch peer Storteboom Group, it was announced today (23 April).
The Boparan Holdings subsidiary said the acquisition, agreed for an undisclosed sum, was awaiting regulatory clearance.
Storteboom processes fresh and frozen poultry products and employs over 1,200 staff in the Netherlands and Poland.
CEO Ranjit Singh said: "The Storteboom Group and 2 Sisters’ existing Dutch business are complimentary, providing an established platform to support expansion in Central Europe.”
