JAPAN: Ajinomoto appoints president, CEO

Japanese food group Ajinomoto has announced that its board of directors has given the green light to its proposed appointment of Masatoshi Ito as president and CEO.

Masatoshi will replace current CEO Norio Yamaguchi.

Norio will assume the role of chairman, the company revealed in a statement on Friday (13 March).
