Can't tell if this process is similar to Dreamfields Pasta (available in the UK & US) Dreamfields process "subtracted fibre carbos from total carbos; to get 'digestible' carbos". It was withdrawn from National Distribution (Unico) in Canada, because (I believe) there were labelling 'issues' concerning 'digestible' carbos and whether/not the 'non-digestible' carbos, just took longer to digest, and thusly, blood sugars elevated, later in time! The Dreamfields Pasta is Good (normal) tasting. Isn't the type 2, Diabetic problem solved for many diabetics, with slower (carbo) digestion? Maybe, Amish Nationals will make "lessor claims" for the benefits of their process.
