US: Attune Foods rolls out probiotic bars

US chocolate maker Attune Foods is to launch its latest probiotic bars.

The Coffee Bean, Raspberry and Almond chocolate bars contain the "digestive health and immunity benefits of probiotics", the company said today (9 June), with "less than 100 calories".

"Attune chocolate and granola bars are the best way of getting daily probiotics because we use the most clinically supported probiotics in a format that not only protects them but is something consumers enjoy eating every day," said Attune CEO Rob Hurlbut.

"Attune's mission is to deliver the maximum benefits of probiotics in the most delicious and convenient package available."

Also available in 80-calorie dark chocolate and mint chocolate, chocolate crisp and blueberry vanilla varieties, the bars retail for US$1.19 each.

The Attune product line is available in retailers across the US such as Safeway, Publix, Whole Foods Market, Lucky's, Save Mart, H-E-B, Albertson's, Wegmans, Hannaford and Giant Eagle and online at www.attunefoods.com.
