US: Blue Planet Foods withdraws pie crust

Health foods specialist Blue Planet Foods is voluntarily recalling its 6oz Heartland Graham Pie Crust because of undeclared allergen ingredients, namely milk, coconut and almond.

The US supermarket chain Stop & Shop announced that it had withdrawn the product, with a Best Buy date of 27 October 2008, from its shelves.

Blue Planet Foods, a division of the privately-owned McKee Foods Corp., sells the product in Stop & Shop's Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island stores.
