FRANCE: Casino names development director

French retail giant Casino has named former government official Arnaud Strasser as its new development director.

Strasser succeeds Hakim Aouani, who will take another role looking at mergers and acquisitions.

Strasse joined Casino in 2007 when he advised the executive in charge of the retailer's international development.

The 40-year-old has held roles within French government's business and family departments.
