US: Delhaize US arm makes management changes

Delhaize has made changes to the management teams within its Hannaford and Food Lion units in the US.
Rudy DiPietro has been appointed as vice president of retail operations for the Hannaford's Western division. DiPietro is replacing Kevin Hill, who has been appointed to an executive role at Food Lion.
DiPietro will oversee store operations in New York and Vermont, including sales, marketing and budgets. He has worked in a variety of leadership positions at Hannaford.
Meanwhile, Heather Paquette has been named as vice president of retail operations for Hannaford's Eastern division. She will be responsible for all aspects of store operations in Maine.
Previously, she worked in a variety of other leadership roles at Hannaford, including district manager roles in Vermont and New York.
Paquette is succeeding Karen Fernald, who is senior vice president of brand strategy and marketing at Food Lion.
