US: Former Ahold EVP joins Michael Foods as CEO

Michael Foods has appointed former Ahold USA executive James Dwyer as president and chief executive officer.

Dwyer served as executive vice president, private brands and e-commerce, at Ahold USA, as well as chief business development officer at subsidiary Stop and Shop.

Gregg Ostrander, who had served as president and CEO in addition to his existing responsibilities since April, will continue in his previous role as executive chairman.
