US: Former ConAgra exec Boever joins Pinnacle Foods

US food maker Pinnacle Foods Group has appointed Christopher Boever as executive vice president and chief customer officer.

In this newly-created role, Boever will be responsible for the sales team and broker organisation. He has joined Pinnacle from ConAgra Foods, where he was senior VP of sales.

Pinnacle CEO Bob Gamgort said: "Chris brings to Pinnacle extensive sales retail leadership experience and a strong track record of driving growth."

Prior to joining ConAgra in 2007, Boever served as VP of sales and business development for Hormel Foods.

Reflecting on his appointment at Pinnacle, Boever said: "Leading the Pinnacle sales organisation is an excellent opportunity to apply my strengths to a portfolio of iconic brands."
