US: General Mills adds to Nature Valley stable
Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are available in two flavours
General Mills has extended its Nature Valley snack line in the US and is looking to build on the growth in convenience with two new products.
Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares and Nature Valley Protein Granola have been created as a variation on the original granola bars.
Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are made with 100% natural whole grain oats and are designed to be eaten as a morning snack with coffee, tea or juice. The line is available in two flavours: Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Brown Sugar.
Nature Valley Protein Granola is a loose, bagged granola to be sprinkled on yoghurt or eaten with milk. It is available in Oats 'n Honey and Oats 'n Dark Chocolate variants.

New Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are made with 100 percent natural whole grain oats and are soft-baked to perfection. Each square contains 12 to 16 grams of whole grains and is 160 calories or less, making it an ideal morning snack that pairs well with coffee, tea or juice. Available in two delicious flavors – Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Brown Sugar – Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are now available at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price (SRP) of $3.89 for a six-bar box.
Nature Valley Protein Granola
New Nature Valley Protein Granola makes it easier to enjoy the taste of Nature Valley anytime, anywhere. Made with natural ingredients, each serving contains 10 grams of protein and at least 23 grams of whole grain (48 grams of whole grain recommended daily) found in the granola aisle at retailers nationwide. Nature Valley Protein Granola is delicious and versatile: it can be sprinkled on yogurt, enjoyed with milk or to satisfy mid-day cravings. The product is available in two varieties – Oats 'n Honey and Oats 'n Dark Chocolate – with a SRP of $4.49 for an 11 ounce bag.
