IRELAND: Greencore promotes finance director to CFO

Imelda Hurley will take up the role of CFO from 31 December |
Greencore has today (17 November) announced the appointment of Imelda Hurley to the role of CFO.
Hurley, currently the firm's managing director of finance, will take up the role from 31 December following the departure of Geoff Doherty who is leaving to become CFO of Kingspan Group. Hurley joined Greencore in April 2001.
Patrick Coveney, chief executive of Greencore said: "I am absolutely delighted to be appointing Imelda to this role at a critical and interesting time for Greencore. She is an experienced finance leader, knows every part of our business, and will bring a drive, energy and expertise to our finance function."
Greencore today announced that it will merge with Goodfella's Pizza maker Northern Foods to create a new company - Essenta.
