UK/IRELAND: Heinz appoints chief commercial officer
Heinz has promoted John Hans to the new position of chief commercial officer for the UK & Ireland.
The announcement coincides with the integration of Heinz frozen and chilled business, for which Hans was appointed interim managing director in February this year, into the main Heinz UK & Ireland business.
Hans, who joined the company in 2006 as vice president for sales UK & Ireland, previously worked for Heinz US for over ten years where he held various positions within the sales function.
"As we accelerate the momentum behind our business progress and integrate our frozen and chilled operations within our mainstream business, John's track record of outstanding leadership and positive customer development will be of critical importance in this newly created role," said Dave Woodward, president Heinz UK & Ireland.
Paul Lees steps up to the role as vice president sales for Heinz UK and Ireland, and Marc Dubery, previously sales director for Heinz frozen and chilled, has been appointed director of global Tesco for Heinz UK & Ireland.
