UK: Innocent launches Asian noodle pots
The range is available in four variants including: Vietnamese curry; Japanese ramen; Thai tom yum; and Malaysian rendang
Smoothie and Veg Pots maker Innocent Drinks is expanding its presence in the chilled ready meals aisle with the launch of a line of South East Asian noodle pots.
Asian street food-inspired meals contain under 300 calories, give you two portions of veg and are low in fat, the company claimed today (18 February). The range is available in four variants including: Vietnamese curry; Japanese ramen; Thai tom yum; and Malaysian rendang.
Innocent says it is hoping to tap into one of the UK's fastest growing food trends: Asian street food, with the launch.
The range will be available in major supermarkets from April with a RRP of GBP3.79 (US$5.87).
