US: Just Born lays out product launch plans

US confectionery producer Just Born has unveiled a raft of product plans to coincide with this week's All Candy Expo in Chicago.

Among the new products on show will be Mike and Ike Lemonade Blends, a five-flavour range, launched this spring/summer.

The company said it also plans to launch a sugar-free version of its Peeps Pumpkins brand in time for Halloween 2008.

Just Born is also adding Peeps Marshmallow JOY letters to the Peeps range. The letters are fashioned in white marshmallow and sprinkled with gold glitter, with the product aimed for the holiday season.

The company said it was also planning new products to coincide with next year's Valentine's Day, including Peeps Chocolate Mousse Flavoured Marshmallow Bears, Chocolate Mousse Flavoured Marshmallow Bunnies, Orange Chicks and Green Bunnies.
