Morrisons has said it wants to establish itself as the UK's largest retailer of Polish food, with its range now comprising 55 own label and branded products.
With an estimated 600,000 Poles residing in the UK, Morrisons has targeted Polish consumers as a growth market.
Products available in the range, part of Morrisons World Foods, include deli meats such as Kabanos, Boczel, Krakus Red Cabbage, poppyseed and rye breads and Solid Naleczowska Plums in Chocolate, a Polish speciality.
Suzanne Laverack, World Foods buyer said: "We tailor our food and drink offering to meet the demands of local communities and are providing foods for different cultures, with clear in store signage to help showcase our developing world foods ranges."
The retailer said it intends to continue expanding its Polish offering and bring new regional foods into its World Foods banner within a year.
