CANADA: Nestlé extends KitKat recall

Nestlé AG is recalling its caramel KitKat Chunky candy bar in Canada.

The move by the Swiss food giant follows a voluntarily recall of two varieties of KitKats in Australia last week.

In both cases the company said the products' package may contain plastic pieces although no injuries have so far been recorded. The Canadian bars are also produced in Australia.
