CANADA: Planet Organic appoints director

Canadian natural and organic foods retailer Planet Organic Health Corp. has appointed Brent Knudsen to its board of directors.
 
Knudsen is the managing partner of Partnership Capital Growth Advisors (PCGA), and a specialist in developing businesses in the healthy and active living sectors.

Prior to founding PCGA, Knudsen was a partner in North Castle Partners where he was instrumental in developing the US active nutrition brand EAS. He was also formerly vice president of marketing and business development at both Price Club and Costco, and before that worked for management consultants Bain & Co.

"We are thrilled to welcome Brent Knudsen to the Planet," said Planet Organic vice president and chief financial officer Darren Krissie. "With Brent's experience in, and understanding of, today's business environment he will be a valued member of the Planet Organic Health Corp. board of directors."
