Premier expands Cup a' offering
Premier Foods plc has expanded its Batchelors Cup a' range with the introduction of a Cup a' Noodles, Cup a' Pasta and Cup a' Rise varieties.
The firm, which already manufactures Batchelors Cup a' Soup, said that it hopes the move will enable it to cash in on lunchtime sales. Premier said that it was a "tasty", "convenient" and "healthy" lunchtime mean option.
The new lines come in various flavours and will be in store next month and the products are available in cup or sachet packagnig.
BATCHELORS TO UNLOCK LUNCHTIME SALES WITH NEW ‘CUP A' RANGE
Premier Foods is set to serve up tasty lunchtime sales with the expansion of thepopular Batchelors ‘Cup a' range. Building on the success of the iconic £40m 1 ‘Cupa Soup' brand, Batchelors is expanding the range to include ‘Cup a Noodle', ‘Cupa Pasta' and ‘Cup a Rice' single serve sachets and on the go pots set to driveincremental sales for retailers.
The new ‘Cup a' range comes in an array of flavours, and is ideal for today's busyconsumers who seek convenient and tasty lunch solutions by simply boiling akettle. These delicious new snacks are all ready in under 5 minutes, contain less than 2% fat and 90 calories, making the new range a tasty and healthy lunchtime option for all.

The new ‘Cup a Noodle', ‘Cup a Pasta' and ‘Cup a Rice' ranges will be available in- store from April. Sachets have an RRP of 0.65p and Pots have an RRP of 0.76p.
