Premier Foods' Ambrosia rice range will be available in four formats and five flavours

Premier Foods plc has extended its Ambrosia dessert range to include a line of rice snack pots.

The rice range, launched this month, will be available in four formats and five flavours, including a 190g pot in four flavours, a 120g pot in four flavours, a 115g pot of Light Rice, a 99 calories re-sealable and microwavable 500g sharing pot rice, and individual rice pudding with jam on the side.

Flavours include, Original Apple Strawberry Custard, Original Apple Strawberry Chocolate, and Light Rice Original.

The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign including television advertising to begin airing from May, outdoor, sampling, PR and in-store advertising.

"Ambrosia is benefiting from its biggest ever investment this year," said Premier Foods' brand director for desserts Caroline Jary. "By launching this new range and communicating our "unbelievably good" messaging about Ambrosia rice's naturally low fat content, we anticipate a year of significant growth for Ambrosia."
