UK sweet spreads brand, Rowse, has introduced a Belgian chocolate and hazelnut spread to its line up.

Rowse Luxury Chocolate & Hazelnut Spread is made with 13% hazelnuts, Rowse Honey and Belgian chocolate.

"Everyone enjoys indulgent foods and we wanted to create a more natural product that we feel confident tastes better than anything else on the market," said David Bondi, managing director at Rowse Honey. "It therefore made good business sense to create a high quality chocolate spread to leverage the brand and extend our offering."

The new chocolate spread has a suggested retail price of GBP1.99 (US$3.45) and is available in Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

Rowse supplies blended, speciality, organic and fairtrade honeys to all market sectors as well as maple syrups, fruit curds, Belgian chocolate truffle sauce and other natural dessert sauces.
