Finnish food manufacturer HK Ruokatalo Oy has agreed to acquire slaughterhouse company Koiviston Teurastamo Oy. Ruokatalo said today [Tuesday] that it would acquire Koiviston for an undisclosed sum. Koiviston is Finland's seventh-largest meat company with over 50 employees and annual revenues of €35.2m (US$33.4m). The company focuses on buying and slaughtering pigs.
