UK: Tesco names Vodaphone exec to marketing role

Tesco has named a former Vodaphone executive as UK marketing director.

The UK's largest food retailer has appointed Lance Batchelor to the role. Batchelor, who has worked for Vodaphone, Amazon and Procter and Gamble, will start on 6 August.

Batchelor succeeds Ian Crook, who has been promoted to marketing director for Tesco's online business.
