US: Tyson names general counsel

Tyson Foods has appointed David L Van Bebber to the position of executive vice president and general counsel.

Van Bebber succeeds J. Alberto Gonzalez-Pita, who left the company to "pursue other opportunities".

Previously, Van Bebber served as deputy general counsel and senior vice president at the world's largest meat producer. He joined the company in 1986.
