BROOMFIELD, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Horizon®, a leading national organic dairy brand, today announced the launch of a new line of snack products. Horizon Snack Crackers, Sandwich Crackers and Snack Grahams mark the brand's continued evolution outside of the dairy case, following the launch of several Mac & Cheese products in January. Available in organic and made with organic varieties, these products offer new feel-good snacking options for families.
"Horizon snack products are a perfect choice for busy families looking for great tasting snacks made with the goodness of organic ingredients," said Mike Ferry, Horizon president. "We are always looking for new ways to introduce consumers to the benefits of organic, and with these new options, Horizon now offers more organic products to consumers than ever before."
Horizon is introducing both organic and made with organic options. All of the new products fall on the organic spectrum and are regulated by the USDA's National Organic Program. The labels on the products clearly designate which are organic and which are made with organic ingredients. The organic varieties carry the USDA Organic Seal and contain at least 95 percent certified organic ingredients, while the made with organic products contain at least 70 percent certified organic ingredients. All Horizon snack products are free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, colors and preservatives and made with non-GMO ingredients. Additionally, Horizon Cheddar Snack Crackers and Cheddar Sandwich Crackers are made with real organic cheddar cheese, and all Horizon snack products are made with USDA-certified organic wheat flour.
Horizon snacking products are available in seven new varieties:
USDA-Certified Organic Snacking Products:
Horizon Organic Sandwich Crackers - Cheddar - (Multi Serve 7.5 oz box)
Horizon Organic Sandwich Crackers - Peanut Butter - (Multi Serve 7.5 oz box)
Made With Organic Horizon Snacking Products:
Horizon Snack Crackers - Cheddar - (Multi Serve 6.6 oz box)
Horizon Snack Crackers - Original - (Multi Serve 6.6 oz box)
Horizon Snack Grahams - Honey - (Multi Serve 7.5 oz box)
Horizon Snack Grahams - Cinnamon - (Multi Serve 7.5 oz box)
Horizon Snack Grahams - Chocolate - (Multi Serve 7.5 oz box)
Horizon's new snacking line, and the introduction of Horizon Mac & Cheese earlier this year, complements the brand's existing line of organic dairy products. The brand remains as committed as ever to supporting organic agriculture and the nearly 700 family farmers with whom Horizon partners. In fact, these new products provide an opportunity to grow consumer awareness of the benefits of organic, while creating more demand for organic ingredients and a way to support more organic farmers.
Available in grocery stores nationwide, Horizon snack products can be found in the snack aisle. More information and a store locator tool are available at www.horizonfamilyfavorites.com.
