Apparently we’ve just entered British Bread Month (again, I wonder, who says so and what gave them the right?). Anyway, potatoes are not alone in feeling the pinch from Atkins or Cabbage Soup Dieters – the carb-shy are shunning bread too. So, bakers have decided it’s time to fight back.
