European vegetable giant Bonduelle has seen its half-year revenue jump 25.3% thanks to last year's acquisition of the Canadian Aliments Carrière business.

The French firm said today (7 February) that rising organic sales in the second quarter of its financial year had also boosted revenue.

Overall, turnover for the six months to 31 December reached EUR756.1m (US$1.1bn).

Bonduelle said its trading in the EU was "buoyant", especially in the last three months.

Nevertheless, Bonduelle said it would look to up prices to offset rising raw material costs.
