Chinese dairy processor Yili Group swung back into the black in 2009 after turning around its business in the wake of the 2008 melamine contamination scandal.

Yili, which sells milk, powdered milk and ice cream and its namesake brand, booked a net profit of CNY647.7m (US$94.9m) for 2009.
