In a move to build its dedicated customer marketing team and support its focus on the convenience sector Fox's Biscuits appoints Helen Earley and David Leigh to the customer marketing division this month.

The extended team will be led by Mark Goode at Fox's Batley headquarters in West Yorkshire.  Their remit is to redefine category management in the biscuit market by working across both the multiple and convenience sectors - aiming to grow both categories.

Helen Earley brings with her three year's dedicated experience in convenience and impulse from her time leading the customer marketing team for KP Nuts at United Biscuits.  At Fox's she will act as impartial category management advisor to help Fox's customers increase generic biscuit sales by more than 30%.

David Leigh comes directly from Asda where he was marketing manager for health and beauty.  In his new role, customer marketing manager for multiple retail, he will concentrate on category growth and innovation by driving product development and sales initiatives powered by market trends and retailer requirements.

"The biscuit market is a mature one that demands overall category focus," said Mark Goode customer marketing controller for Fox's.  "Helen and David's appointments represent the holistic view of the biscuit, convenience and impulse markets we're taking at Fox's.  Their input will ensure that Fox's remains instrumental in the development of the whole category."
