UK-based Fredericks Dairies is continuing to extend its range of licensed Cadbury branded ice creams with the launch of two new variants -Cadbury Creme Egg ice cream stick and Cadbury Dairy Milk with Orange Chips ice cream bar.

The Cadbury Creme Egg ice cream stick is a variant of the confectionery egg with vanilla flavoured ice cream with a fondant sauce centre. The company hopes good awareness of the Creme Egg brand and new packaging will enable the product to stand out in store freezer compartments.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk with Orange Chips ice cream bar mirrors its confectionery counterpart and joins the now seven strong range of Cadbury ice cream bars.

Both additions will benefit from a significant marketing spend throughout 2006, along with high profile Cadbury umbrella support throughout the year.

"The launch of the new products demonstrates our commitment to providing new and innovative flavours to extend the Cadbury range. We are excited by the success of the portfolio and growth of Cadbury ice cream over the last six years and will continue to excite the highly competitive market with NPD to suit all consumer tastes," said Frank Frederick of Fredericks Dairies.
