Rachel's targets evening yoghurt eaters

Lactalis-owned UK organic yoghurt maker Rachel's is launching a range to try to capitalise on growing evening yoghurt consumption.

The company is introducing its organic Inspirations line in two flavours: apple & butterscotch and cherry & dark chocolate.

Daniel Wheeler, marketing manager at Rachel's, said: "Whilst we know that 32% of yogurt consumption takes place in the evening, not all brands are tapping into this and the current indulgent yogurt offering for this occasion is limited. We have identified a clear gap in the market with our innovative Inspirations range, which will strengthen our current core range, offering a delicious new evening experience."

The line will be available in Waitrose and Ocado from next week (22 February).

RACHEL’S LAUNCHES INSPIRATIONS RANGE

February 2015 - Rachel’s proudly announces the launch of a new range of inspiring flavours to indulge and excite the taste buds, arriving in Waitrose stores and Ocado from 22nd February.

The Inspirations range will launch with two tempting flavours: apple & butterscotch and cherry & dark chocolate. Each pot of Rachel’s Inspirations is made with the utmost care and, as with all the Rachel’s range, contains only organic ingredients, locally sourced milk and no artificial colourings, flavours or preservatives.

Apple & Butterscotch Delve into this classic combination of sweet, sumptuous apple and indulgent smooth butterscotch sauce carefully blended with Rachel’s irresistible thick yogurt

Cherry & Dark Chocolate Inspired by the nostalgic flavours of black forest gateau; sweet, juicy cherries and the finest dark couverture chocolate combine with Rachel’s velvety yogurt to make the perfect rich and delectable treat for chocoholics.

Both are available from 22nd February in Waitrose stores and Ocado priced at £1.99 (RRP) for a 400g pot.
