Logisoft (OTC Bulletin Board: LGST - news) and Montana Mills Bread Co., today announced a revenue-sharing e-retailing partnership designed to expand the specialty bread baker's early sales success on the Internet. In exchange for building, marketing and maintaining a more sophisticated e-commerce website, Logisoft will profit from a percentage of future sales transacted online.

The revenue sharing agreement is described as a "marriage of choice" between two rapidly growing Rochester-area companies, each a specialist in its field. Logisoft (Fairport, NY), which began publicly trading in March, develops high-end e-business and e-commerce platforms. Recent innovations by Logisoft enable global thinking e-businesses to sell over the Internet in 40 currencies and languages. E-partnerships with retail-oriented clients is a thriving subsidiary business for Logisoft - its other e-partners being Web Planet Beverages (Jolt Cola) and Dunlop Gear.

Privately-owned and operated Montana Mills (Rochester NY) started baking all-natural specialty breads in 1996 in the Village of Pittsford, NY. Today, the company operates from 13 locations in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Albany. The company plans to open another five locations by year's end, including a first out-of-state presence in Pittsburgh, Pa.

"We want to move with the times," said Montana Mills President Gene O'Donovan, "and communicate directly with a growing number of our customers who may prefer to buy our bread products online. Logisoft will architect and build a world class Internet site that will expand our online ordering and database marketing capabilities. On this platform we will be able to target a national market that craves all-natural, nutritious breads."

"We are very excited about our partnership with Montana Mills," said Logisoft President Rob Lamy. "In just a few years Montana Mills has built up a brand name and has proven it can operate profitably on the web. We intend to build a great e-business website that will support the bread store's 'brick and mortar' operations, and will itself become a primary online destination for the corporate gift market and those wanting other high-quality bread and bakery products."

Montana Mills launched its website in November 1999, primarily to sell bread gift boxes for the holiday season. "We were surprised and encouraged by our early success selling on the web," said O'Donovan. "Now we want to upgrade our e-business potential to a year-round enterprise. As fast as we are growing - doubling in size this year alone - we expect our online business will grow at an even faster pace. Logisoft's e-commerce and marketing experience will help us achieve those goals. It's a great marriage."

Once the new site is up and running this October, Logisoft will focus on cross marketing the site, both online and through the stores. "We anticipate this venture to become Logisoft's largest marketing initiative to date," said Lamy. "We expect to devote 75 percent of our energies to attracting customers outside upstate New York to the Montana Mills family, increasing online sales, and driving traffic to the physical stores."

As part of the partnership agreement, Logisoft will earn an undisclosed portion of each online sale. Montana Mills plans to fulfill and ship online orders from its Greece, NY location.
