Philippines-based food group Monde Nissin is to distribute Kellogg‘s products across the country.

Monde Nissin said the distribution deal is “set to grow” Kellogg’s breakfast cereals and snacking business by expanding the local reach of its ready-to-eat cereal products and crisp brand Pringles.

“The strategic partnership paves the way for Monde Nissin’s expansion into two new categories and strengthens Kellogg’s presence in the Philippine market,”  Monde Nissin said.

Monde Nissin has worked to expand outside the Philippines in recent years.

In September, the company acquired UK-based meat-free business Quorn Foods. In March, Monde Nissin announced it was increasing its presence in Australia with the acquisition of Menora Foods.

The Menora deal was Monde Nissin’s second in nine months. In June 2014, the company acquired Australian dips manufacturer Black Swan.
