Allrecipes.com®, the leading online meal planning resource, today announced agreements with Nestle®, Eagle Brand® and Keebler®.

Nestle and Eagle Brand have each signed sponsorship agreements with Allrecipes.com. Keebler has agreed to share web content with Allrecipes.com and post Allrecipes.com's linked logo on the Keebler party-planning site. These agreements are designed to help consumers with their meal planning needs while generating brand awareness for the packaged good companies. Similar sponsorship campaigns have successfully run on Allrecipes.com by companies such as Domino's Sugar and Fleischmann's Yeast.

"Working with these high profile sponsors adds great value for our customers as well as to the packaged good companies," said Tina Basle, director of business development for Allrecipes.com. "Nestle, Eagle and Keebler are all respected and established food brands that have been part of American cooking experience for decades. We're looking forward to working with these companies, as well as other prominent sponsors throughout the food industry, to help bring known brand names to a very targeted new generation of online cooks."

Allrecipes.com's everyday cooks provide a very targeted audience for the consumer packaged goods industry. In a recent survey by Allrecipes.com, 80 percent of the site's nearly one million unique visitors each month are women between the ages of 25 to 55. As the Internet continues its growth and popularity as an everyday resource for consumers, targeted advertising opportunities are gaining even greater importance for maintaining and growing market share.

"The Internet enables Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturers to realize more than short-term sale gains by targeting particular consumer segments or encouraging specific behavior such as retention or switching," said Robert Rubin, Research Director at Forrester Research, Inc. in his May 2000 Netquity Report titled, A New Channel for Old Brands.

Allrecipes.com & Keebler

Under this agreement, consumers can use Keebler's Party Room section as a portal to find select Allrecipes.com recipes included in Keebler's database. Each Keebler recipe page includes a hyper linked Allrecipes.com logo. Allrecipes.com logo is also featured on the Keebler Party Planning home page and is listed as a content partner.

Allrecipes.com & Nestle

Nestle provides Allrecipes.com with select Ortega® and Nestle Toll House® morsel recipes. In addition, sponsorship buttons appear on specific Allrecipe.com recipes that use these Nestle products as ingredients. These recipes carry a hyperlink back to Ortega.com and Verybestbaking.com, Nestle's baking site for Nestle Toll House, Nestle Carnation Milk® and Libby's Pumpkin® sites. Featuring their Ortega and NestleToll House branding on Allrecipes.com allows for easy access by both company's website visitors.

Allrecipes.com & Eagle Brand

This sponsorship allows Eagle Brand to utilize two important functions of the Allrecipes.com site. First, Eagle Brand targets Allrecipes.com's one million monthly visitors with banners that appear throughout the site. Secondly, Eagle Brand receives branded ingredient sponsorship buttons on recipes containing sweetened condensed milk. All banners link consumers to the EagleBrand.com Web site for more recipes and information about the product.
