Nisa-Today's believes campaign will help grow sales

UK convenience retailer Nisa-Today's is to make its first move into consumer television advertising.

The retailer said this week that the adverts will form part of a consumer and trade marketing campaign to support its "business transformation" plans. Earlier this year, Nisa-Today's launched a refreshed brand positioning and tagline 'making a difference locally', along with a corporate logo redesign.

The first television advert will air on 27 December and will run through to 6 February. The ad will be supported by trade marketing material in the new year.

"Each year brings many challenges, but we feel confident that our new consumer and trade marketing campaigns put us in a strong position to not only drive further sales growth through existing members, but to also drive recruitment of new independent retailers and in doing so grow our business as a whole," said Neil Turton, CEO of Nisa-Today's.

"In terms of performance Nisa has done very well this year, and has done consistently well over recent years adding half a billion to turnover since 2006," he added. "We felt the time was right to have a brand which demonstrated that growth and set us apart from the rest of the sector."
