Australia-based group SPC Ardmona is launching a fruit snack line aimed at children in the UK through local arm Nature's Finest.

Go Fru is a fruit snack developed for children aged 3-14 years. The range comprises five variants, three combining fruit and yoghurt and two combining fruit and coconut milk - a first in the kid's arena, the company claims. Flavours include Rasberry & Plum, Banana, and Peach & Apricot.

Each pouch has an RSP of GBP0.89 (US$1.37). The line is available in Tesco, Waitrose and Booths stores.

Nature’s Finest is launching a brand new fruit snack this month, developed just for kids aged 3-14 years old called Go-Fru.

 

12 months in development, including extensive consumer research and testing, the range comprises of five sku’s: three combining smooth fruit and yogurt, and two combining fruit and smooth coconut milk – a first in the kid’s arena.

With 12 months shelf life, an RSP of 89p, eye-catching shelf-ready packaging and an innovative social media and on-line support plan in 2013 the aim is to drive profitable growth to the category.
