Hostess Brands LLC is a US-based bakery business. Founded after the liquidation of the original company in 2012 it was re-launched in 2013. Hostess Brands is majority owned by US private-equity firms Metropoulos & Co. and Apollo Global Management but is set to be majority-owned by another, US private-equity firm The Gores Group, after a deal this summer. The head office for Hostess Brands is located in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
