It’s what every woman dreams of for her wedding – the perfect guy waiting at the end of the aisle, a beautiful dress, a picturesque setting, friends and family together… oh, and not forgetting the three-tiered wedding pork pie.

Yes, that’s right ladies and gentlemen; a West Yorkshire couple opted for a three-tiered 50lb pork pie instead of the traditional cake at their nuptials on Saturday.

Slightly bizarre maybe, but what better way for a founder member of the Pork Pie Appreciation Society to celebrate his marriage?
