Seattle restaurant the 5 Spot is obliging patrons who order its calorific dessert The Bulge to sign a disclaimer promising they will not sue if they gain weight as a result. Should the dessert lead to ‘saddle bags’, ‘love handles’ or ‘junk in the trunk’, or even a spell at Fat Camp, the 5 Spot is protected from lawsuits… nice publicity stunt.
