Blog: Please release me

Catherine Sleep | 19 August 2003

As I may have mentioned before, every day the just-food.com postbag bulges with press releases. A few are littered with errors; some are complete nonsense; many are irrelevant, most are overly verbose and the majority head straight for the vertical filing system we affectionately term “waste paper basket” (because that’s what it is).

However, I received a jewel of a release today from Casemir Chocolates. In under 100 words, it gave me the news straight and included multiple contact details. It was accompanied by a little box of the company’s handmade chocolates – which IN NO WAY influenced my decision to mention it, naturally. They’re delicious, by the way – thanks.
