Mondelez International has added Cadbury Breakaway and Cadbury Fingers to its range on sale in South Africa.

Lara Sidersky, the US-based group’s category lead for biscuits in South Africa, claimed the products “are sure to win over the taste buds of biscuit and chocolate lovers”.

Cadbury Fingers are available in 144g packs and Cadbury Breakaway in 180g packs from major retail stores nationwide, Mondelez added.

The move follows last year’s deal in which Mondelez bought the licence to manufacture, market and sell Cadbury-branded biscuits from Burton’s Biscuit Co., a deal the snacks giant said enabled it to “manufacture, market and sell Cadbury-branded biscuits around the world”.

Earlier this year Mondelez announced the launch of the Cadbury Roundie biscuit line in the UK.
