General Mills has launched its first desserts in France under its Yoplait brand.

The two new desserts – Field of Fruits and Triple Sensation – are “made with 100% French milk, General Mills said.

The company said the new line is the result of two years of research and testing and involved the creation of an “ultra flexible” production model to allow the insertion of different layers of fruit in each of the dessert pots.

Field of Fruits is available in 150g pots while Yoplait Triple Sensation is served up in 125g pots. Both products feature “different layers of fruit combined with creamy yogurt”, General Mills said.

The desserts are available in two fruit flavour variants: Strawberry, mango and blueberry with passion fruit, at a recommended price of EUR1.99 (US$2.11);  Mango on a bed of passion fruit with layers of raspberry-strawberry, blueberry-cassis and apple pair at a recommended price of EUR1.65.
