US confectionery company Brown and Haley is to introduce a new flavour to rival its popular Almond Roca confectionery product.
Almond Roca, which is made of almonds, toffee and chocolate, was first launched in 1923, and the new Cashew Roca is the first new flavour to be introduced by the company, reported Reuters. Cashew Roca will be sold in blue tin foil wrappers, rather than the gold-coloured foil wrappers of Almond Roca.
Pierson Clair, chief executive of Brown and Haley, said the company had considered other nuts for the new product, but had no plans at the moment to introduce a third flavour.
