The company, also known as Nippon Ham, plans to double the processing capacity of the plant to 2,000 head of cattle per day, reported the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
Nippon Ham currently has three plants in Australia, which together have a processing capacity of 2,800 head of cattle per day.
