The Kids Co. is launching quinoa and lentil crisps aimed at toddlers under the Kiddylicious brand in the UK.

The company revealed it is rolling out Super Snacks quinoa crisps and Super Snacks lentil crisps. The Kids Co. said the on-the-go snacks are made from “super foods” that are high in plant proteins that deliver a slow release energy.

The lentil crisps are seasoned with sour cream and chive, and the quinoa crisps are naturally flavoured.

The company has secured listings with Wal-Mart-owned Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Waitrose and Ocado, as well as Savers and Boots. Packs will be available for a recommended retail price of GBP0.70 (US$1).
